While hyaluronic acid is a common component of Perlane and Restylane, Perlane has a higher concentration and larger gel particles of the substance. Perlane is more suited for treatment of deeper wrinkles. Because of the higher level of hyaluronic acid, Perlane costs more than Restylane.
